Oscar winners Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem play a couple in Darren Aronofsky’s forthcoming thriller mother! No need to mention that J-Law is only 26 and Bardem is 48, because Aronofksy is back!

After his disappointing turn at the helm of 2014’s Noah, Aronofsky is back in Pi, Requiem for a Dream, and Black Swan territory with a story about the Lawrence-Bardem couple being harassed by another couple played by Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer. The trailer has a Hitchcockian vibe to it and it reminded me of why I love Aronofsky: That man can make the skin crawl off of my bones.
